The 15-inch M4 Air has no fan. The battery has to deliver full power without any active cooling to help, so wear shows up quickly. These are the signals to look for:
Safety Note: In the A3241's slim, fanless body, a swelling lithium-polymer cell has no spare room and pushes against whatever sits next to it. If you spot any change in the base or trackpad, stop using the laptop and contact Lappy Maker straight away.
The A3241 is a 2025 machine, so age alone is rarely the culprit. These are the usual reasons batteries fade early.
With summers in Delhi regularly reaching 44–46°C, a fanless chassis has little chance of shedding heat. The battery sits inside that warmth for hours, and lithium-polymer cells wear out faster when kept warm.
Sitting at 100% for days, or draining to near zero before plugging in, stresses the cells chemically. The damage is slow, but it accumulates.

MagSafe 3 uses a specific charging profile. Cheap adapters that don't match it feed uneven voltage to the battery and wear it down.
The A3241's lithium-polymer battery is held down with stretch-release adhesive, sits close to the logic board and runs alongside the trackpad cable. Order and care matter at every step.
Before we open anything, we run full software and hardware tests: cycle count, maximum capacity, charging circuit, MagSafe port condition, and whether the fault is really the battery or something else in the power system.
